Thomas Eyton (politician)
Thomas Eyton (1791 – 20 January 1854) was a British Conservative politician.
Eyton was the son of Thomas Eyton of Eyton Hall, Shropshire, and his wife, Elizabeth Alltree. He served as High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1824.
He was elected as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Bridgnorth at a by-election in 1835, holding the seat until 1841. He regained the seat at the 1843 by-election and served until 1847.
He married Lucy Elizabeth Burton in 1820, daughter of Rev. Robert Burton of Longnor. They had several children, including Thomas Campbell Eyton, a well-known naturalist.
