The Stranded (TV series)

The Stranded is a Thai science fiction mystery thriller television series that premiered on Netflix on November 14, 2019. The series is directed by Sophon Sakdaphisit and stars Papangkorn Lerkchaleampote, Chutawut Phatrakampol, Chanya McClory, and Korapat Kirdpan.

The story revolves around a group of privileged students attending an elite private high school on a remote island. A devastating tsunami isolates them after a series of mysterious events and strange occurrences engulf the island. With limited resources and no adult supervision, the students must learn to survive and unravel the secrets of their predicament while battling their own internal conflicts and external threats. As they explore the island and their altered reality, they uncover a supernatural element that may be connected to their disappearance. They struggle to reconcile their previous lives with the bizarre new world they inhabit and discover if rescue is even possible.
