The New Party (UK, 2003)

The New Party was a minor political party in the United Kingdom, founded in 2003. It was led by Neil Tappenden. The party was Eurosceptic, advocating for withdrawal from the European Union. It also campaigned on issues such as tighter immigration controls, and reducing crime. The New Party fielded candidates in a limited number of local and national elections, but achieved little electoral success. The party was deregistered by the Electoral Commission in 2006.
