The Lucky Ones (Pentatonix album)

The Lucky Ones is the fifth studio album by the a cappella group Pentatonix. It was released on February 12, 2021, by RCA Records. It is their third original album, following Pentatonix (2015) and PTX Presents Top Pop, Vol. I (2018).

The album features eleven original tracks, showcasing the group's signature vocal harmonies and diverse musical influences. The songwriting process involved all five members: Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee, and explores themes of love, loss, hope, and self-discovery.

Prior to the album's release, several singles were made available, including "Happy Now," "Be My Eyes," and "Coffee in Bed." The album received generally positive reviews, with critics praising the group's vocal arrangements and the emotional depth of the songs. The Lucky Ones charted on various Billboard charts, including the Billboard 200.

The album also spawned a deluxe edition, featuring additional tracks. Pentatonix supported the album with virtual performances and appearances, given limitations imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
