The Love Album (Doris Day album)

The Love Album is a studio album by American vocalist Doris Day, recorded in London in 1967, but not released until 1994. The album was produced by Jackie Rae and arranged by Tony Hatch. The songs on the album are primarily cover versions of popular love songs from the 1960s. It was originally intended for release by CBS Records, but for unknown reasons, it remained unreleased for over 25 years. The album finally saw the light of day when Columbia Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, released it in 1994. The delay made it something of a collector's item and generated significant interest from Day's fans.
