Bill Armstrong (ice hockey, born 1966)
Bill Armstrong (born January 6, 1966) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman.
Armstrong played junior hockey in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Saskatoon Blades and the Regina Pats. He was drafted in the 8th round, 164th overall, by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft.
Armstrong played professional hockey for several years, primarily in the American Hockey League (AHL) and the International Hockey League (IHL). He played for teams such as the Hershey Bears, Springfield Indians, Baltimore Skipjacks, and Peoria Rivermen. He also had brief stints in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Philadelphia Flyers, playing a limited number of games.
