The Clifford Ball (video)
The Clifford Ball was a music festival hosted by the band Phish at Plattsburgh Air Force Base in Plattsburgh, New York, from August 16-18, 1996. A multi-camera video recording of the festival was later released, capturing significant portions of Phish's performances over the three days. The video release provides a document of the band's improvisational style and the overall atmosphere of the event, which was one of the largest self-produced music festivals in North American history at the time. The video often focuses on highlights from the sets, including extended jams, notable songs, and unique visual elements employed during the performances, such as the "flying hot dog" during the final performance.
