Super Express (film)

Super Express is a 2016 Chinese-French action comedy film directed by Song Xiao and starring Chen He, David Belle, Song Ji-hyo, and Li Yuan. The film follows a deliveryman in Shanghai who becomes entangled in a dangerous game involving a stolen artifact.

The plot revolves around Ma Li (Chen He), a Shanghai-based delivery driver who, through a series of mishaps, finds himself tasked with protecting a valuable package sought after by various criminal factions. He teams up with a mysterious woman named Sophie (Song Ji-hyo) and encounters a skilled fighter (David Belle) along the way. The film is characterized by its comedic action sequences, fast-paced editing, and international cast.

While not a critical darling, Super Express gained attention for its blend of Chinese and French cinema styles, as well as the inclusion of parkour elements thanks to David Belle's involvement. The film was released in China on December 2, 2016.
