Stephen Boyd (American football)

Stephen Boyd (born October 27, 1972) is a former American football player. He was a defensive back who played college football at Boston College and professionally in the National Football League (NFL).

Boyd played college football for the Boston College Eagles from 1991 to 1994. He was a key contributor to the Eagles defense and helped them achieve success during his tenure.

Following his college career, Boyd was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the seventh round (228th overall) of the 1995 NFL Draft. He played for the Eagles for one season in 1995. He also played for the Baltimore Ravens in 1996.

After his playing career, Boyd transitioned into coaching. He has held various coaching positions at the high school and college levels.
