Skeletons (band)

Skeletons is an American experimental rock band formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2002. The band is known for its eclectic and theatrical performances, incorporating elements of jazz, Afrobeat, indie rock, and avant-garde music.

Originally known as Skeletons and the Girl-Faced Boys, the group shortened their name to Skeletons in 2007. The band's rotating lineup has featured a wide array of musicians, with Matt Mehlan serving as the primary songwriter and consistent member.

Skeletons has released several albums, including Hair (2005), Lucas (2007), Git (2009), and People (2011). Their music is characterized by complex arrangements, unusual instrumentation, and Mehlan's distinctive vocals.
