Sender (band)

Sender was an American post-hardcore band formed in Huntington Beach, California, in 1994. The band consisted of Geoff Allman (vocals), Mark Miller (guitar), Alex Erian (bass), and Greg Drudy (drums).

Sender was known for its intricate and dynamic songwriting, blending elements of hardcore, post-rock, and math rock. Their sound was characterized by complex guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and introspective lyrics delivered with Allman's distinctive vocals.

Sender released two full-length albums: Half-Life (1996) on Grape Records, and A Means to Survive (1998) on Troubleman Unlimited Records. They also released a self-titled EP in 1994.

The band toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, sharing the stage with bands such as Fugazi, Karate, and Elliott.

Sender disbanded in 1999. Greg Drudy later went on to play drums for Hot Water Music and Interpol.
