Scott Reid (Newfoundland and Labrador politician)

Scott Reid is a Canadian politician who has represented the district of St. George's-Stephenville East in the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly. He is a member of the Liberal Party. First elected in the 2015 general election, he served as Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture from 2017 to 2019 in the Ball government. He was re-elected in the 2019 and 2021 provincial elections. During his time in office, Reid has focused on issues such as rural economic development, fisheries management, and infrastructure improvements within his district.
