Sam Steel

Sam Steel is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He currently plays as a center for the Anaheim Ducks in the National Hockey League (NHL).

Steel was born on February 3, 1998, in Sherwood Park, Alberta. He was drafted 30th overall by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to his professional career, Steel played junior hockey for the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League (WHL). He had a highly successful junior career, winning the Four Broncos Memorial Trophy as the WHL's Player of the Year in the 2016-17 season. He also represented Canada in international competitions, winning a silver medal at the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship and a gold medal at the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Steel made his NHL debut with the Ducks in the 2018-19 season. He is known for his playmaking ability and offensive skill.
