Richard Hudson (musician)
Richard Hudson is an English musician, primarily known as a drummer, percussionist, and vocalist. He is a founding member of the progressive rock band The Strawbs, contributing to their distinctive sound and numerous albums, including the critically acclaimed "Hero and the Heroine."
Beyond his work with The Strawbs, Hudson formed the band Hudson Ford with fellow Strawbs member John Ford after the duo departed from the group in the mid-1970s. Hudson Ford achieved moderate success with singles such as "Pick Up the Pieces" and "Floating in the Wind."
Hudson is also credited with session work for various artists, showcasing his versatility as a musician. He has continued to perform and record music, remaining an active figure in the music scene.
