Pyroeis

Pyroeis (Ancient Greek: Πυροεις, "fiery," "flaming," or "blazing") is one of the four horses that drew the chariot of Helios, the Greek sun god, across the sky each day. The other horses were Aethon (Blazing), Phlegon (Burning), and Eous (Dawn). Pyroeis, as the name suggests, was associated with the intense heat and light of the sun. He embodies the fiery aspect of Helios's celestial journey. While specific myths focusing solely on Pyroeis are rare, his role is consistently mentioned in descriptions of Helios's daily task and the splendor of his chariot. His fiery nature served to emphasize the awesome power and radiant energy of the sun itself.
