Prince Max Emanuel of Thurn and Taxis (b. 1935)
Prince Max Emanuel of Thurn and Taxis (born 7 September 1935 at Schloss Prüfening, Regensburg) is a German businessman and member of the Princely House of Thurn and Taxis. He is the son of Carl August, 10th Prince of Thurn and Taxis and Princess Maria Anna of Braganza.
He is a great-great-grandson of Miguel I of Portugal on his mother's side. Prince Max Emanuel is a businessman with interests in forestry and real estate.
He married Countess Christa von Pückler und Limpurg on 20 February 1973 in Dischingen. They have four children:
- Princess Mariae Gloria of Thurn and Taxis (born 1974)
- Princess Elisabeth Margarethe of Thurn and Taxis (born 1975)
- Prince Hubertus of Thurn and Taxis (born 1977)
- Princess Philippa of Thurn and Taxis (born 1981)
He holds the style of His Serene Highness. He is related to the current Prince of Thurn and Taxis, Albert, through Albert's father, Johannes. His lineage places him within one of Germany's historically prominent and wealthiest noble families.
