Peter Robinson (journalist)

Peter Robinson is a British political commentator and journalist known for his sharp interviewing style and conservative viewpoint. He is a research fellow at the Hoover Institution, a public policy think tank at Stanford University.

Robinson is perhaps best known as the host of Uncommon Knowledge, a Hoover Institution web series featuring interviews with prominent figures in politics, economics, and culture. He is also a frequent contributor to publications such as National Review and Ricochet.com.

Before his career in journalism and think tanks, Robinson served as a speechwriter for U.S. President Ronald Reagan from 1983 to 1988. He is credited with writing Reagan's famous "Tear down this wall!" line in a speech delivered in West Berlin in 1987.

Robinson is the author of several books, including "How Ronald Reagan Changed My Life" and "It's My Party: A Republican's Messy Love Affair with the GOP."

He graduated from Dartmouth College and earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
