Pedro Cerisola

Pedro Cerisola Weber (born August 19, 1949) is a Mexican politician and businessman. He served as the Secretary of Communications and Transportation (Secretario de Comunicaciones y Transportes) in the cabinet of President Vicente Fox from 2000 to 2006.

Prior to his government service, Cerisola held various leadership positions in the private sector, primarily in the telecommunications industry.

As Secretary of Communications and Transportation, Cerisola oversaw significant infrastructure projects and regulatory changes within Mexico's transportation, telecommunications, and postal sectors. His tenure was marked by efforts to modernize these sectors and promote competition.

Cerisola holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
