Pär Nuder

Pär Nuder (born 27 February 1963) is a Swedish Social Democratic politician. He served as a Member of Parliament (MP) from 1994 to 2012.

Nuder held several prominent positions within the Swedish government, including Minister for Policy Coordination from 1998 to 2002 under Prime Minister Göran Persson, and Minister for Finance from 2004 to 2006, also under Persson. As Finance Minister, he was responsible for managing Sweden's finances during a period of significant economic growth and was known for his fiscal prudence.

Following the Social Democrats' loss in the 2006 general election, Nuder continued to serve in Parliament as a leading voice on economic policy for the opposition. He eventually left parliament in 2012 to join a private equity firm, EQT Partners.

Nuder is the author of several books and articles on economic policy and social democracy.
