Oskido

Oskido is the stage name of Oscar Bonginkosi Mdlongwa, a South African DJ, record producer, and businessman. He is widely considered a pioneer of Kwaito music and a key figure in the development of South African house music, particularly Amapiano.

Oskido co-founded Kalawa Jazmee Records (formerly Kalawa Records), one of South Africa's most influential independent record labels, with Don Laka and Christos Katsaitis. The label has been instrumental in launching the careers of numerous prominent South African artists.

Throughout his career, Oskido has released numerous albums and singles, often collaborating with other artists. He is known for his innovative approach to music production, blending various genres and incorporating traditional South African sounds.

Beyond music, Oskido is a successful businessman with ventures in various industries, including food and beverage. He is also a motivational speaker and mentor to aspiring entrepreneurs. His contributions to the South African music industry have earned him numerous awards and accolades.
