Oscar Jimenez (soccer, born 1989)

Oscar Jimenez (born October 18, 1989) is a Mexican professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for Club América in Liga MX.

Jimenez began his professional career with Jaguares de Chiapas, making his debut in Liga MX in 2012. He played for Chiapas until 2015.

He then joined Lobos BUAP, where he remained until 2018. During his time with Lobos BUAP, he established himself as a regular starter.

In 2018, Jimenez transferred to Club América, one of the most prominent clubs in Mexican football. He has since been a part of the América squad, contributing as a defender. He has participated in various Liga MX tournaments and CONCACAF Champions League matches with the club.

Jimenez primarily plays as a right-back but can also be deployed in other defensive positions.
