Oleksandr Hranovskyi (politician)
Oleksandr Hranovskyi (born December 24, 1979, Odesa) is a Ukrainian politician and businessman. He served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada of the 8th convocation (2014-2019), elected from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc.
Hranovskyi graduated from the Odesa National Maritime Academy. Before entering politics, he was involved in various business ventures, primarily in the real estate and construction sectors.
During his time in parliament, Hranovskyi served on the Committee on Legal Policy and Justice. His legislative activities focused on judicial reform and issues related to business regulation. He was often associated with Ihor Kononenko, a close associate of then-President Petro Poroshenko.
Following the 2019 parliamentary elections, Hranovskyi did not return to the Verkhovna Rada. His subsequent activities have primarily focused on his business interests. He has been the subject of media scrutiny and some allegations related to his business dealings and political influence, though none have resulted in criminal charges.
