National Unity Party (Guinea-Bissau)

The National Unity Party (Portuguese: Partido da Unidade Nacional, PUN) is a minor political party in Guinea-Bissau.

The party was founded in 2014 by Ibraima Sory Djalo. Its initial focus was on promoting national reconciliation and unity following periods of political instability and military intervention in Guinea-Bissau.

The PUN has participated in parliamentary elections in Guinea-Bissau but has not achieved significant electoral success. It has generally positioned itself as a centrist party, advocating for good governance, economic development, and social justice. It has sometimes formed alliances with other smaller parties in an attempt to increase its political influence. Information regarding its current activities and representation in government is limited, suggesting a relatively marginal role in the contemporary Guinean political landscape.
