Nagréongo (department)

Nagréongo is a department of the Oubritenga Province in Burkina Faso. Its capital lies at Nagréongo.

The department is located in the Centre-Nord region of Burkina Faso. As of 2019, the department had a population of 42,061. The main ethnic group is the Mossi. Agricultural activities form the mainstay of the local economy, with livestock rearing also being important. The climate is characterized by a dry season and a rainy season.
