Corey Hart (baseball)

Corey Hart (born March 24, 1982) is a former Major League Baseball outfielder and first baseman. He played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners, and Pittsburgh Pirates. Hart was known for his power hitting and speed, earning him two All-Star selections in 2008 and 2010 while with the Brewers.

Hart was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 11th round of the 2000 Major League Baseball draft. He made his major league debut in 2004. Hart established himself as a key player for the Brewers in the late 2000s and early 2010s, often playing right field.

Injuries, particularly to his knees, hampered Hart’s career in later years. He missed the entire 2013 season due to surgery on both knees. After leaving the Brewers, he played one season each for the Seattle Mariners (2014) and Pittsburgh Pirates (2015) before retiring. His career totals include over 150 home runs and over 500 RBIs.

After his playing career, Hart has been involved in youth baseball and other business ventures.
