Motorway (film)

Motorway (Cantonese: 車手; Jyutping: Ce1 Sau2; Simplified Chinese: 车手; Traditional Chinese: 車手) is a 2012 Hong Kong action film directed by Cheang Pou-Soi (Soi Cheang) and starring Shawn Yue, Anthony Wong, and Barbie Hsu.

The film centers around Cheung, a young and skilled but reckless police officer in the Hong Kong Police Force's Invisible Squad, a unit specializing in high-speed pursuits. Cheung possesses exceptional driving abilities but struggles with teamwork and impulse control. He becomes obsessed with a legendary getaway driver known as "Showtime," a meticulous and ruthless criminal who is planning a major heist.

As Cheung becomes more consumed by the case and his desire to outwit Showtime, he is forced to confront his own limitations and learn to rely on his partner, Lo Fung, a seasoned and more pragmatic officer played by Anthony Wong.
