Miss Helyett (1928 film)

Miss Helyett is a 1928 French silent comedy film directed by Maurice Gleize and starring Marie Glory, Albert Préjean, and Jean Toulout. It is based on the 1890 operetta of the same name composed by Edmond Audran. The film depicts the story of Miss Helyett, an American tourist in the Pyrenees who inadvertently finds herself embroiled in romantic entanglements and comedic misadventures. Though a silent film, it retained the operetta's lighthearted spirit through visual storytelling and intertitles.
