Metalinda

Metalinda was a Slovak hard rock and heavy metal band formed in Bratislava in 1989. The band was a prominent act in the Slovak music scene throughout the 1990s.

Metalinda is known for its melodic approach to hard rock, incorporating elements of pop music into their sound. They achieved considerable commercial success in Slovakia, releasing several albums that were popular with a wide audience. Key members of the band included lead singer Paľo Drapák and guitarist Peter Sámel. The band's discography includes albums such as "Metalinda" (1991), "Za Všetko Môže Rock 'n' Roll" (1993), and "Svetlo Na Druhom Brehu" (1994).

Metalinda experienced personnel changes throughout its history and eventually disbanded. However, their music remains influential and is often associated with the development of Slovak rock music in the post-communist era.
