Matt Woods (footballer, born 1976)

Matt Woods (born September 1, 1976) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).

Woods was drafted by Richmond with pick number 54 in the 1994 AFL Draft. He made his AFL debut in 1996 and played a total of 14 games for the Tigers over two seasons (1996 and 1997). A defender, he was delisted at the end of the 1997 season. Following his time in the AFL, Woods continued to play football at a local level.
