Marilyn Corson

Marilyn Corson (born July 6, 1950) is a Canadian former competitive swimmer. She represented Canada at two Summer Olympic Games: 1968 in Mexico City and 1972 in Munich.

At the 1968 Olympics, she won a bronze medal in the 4x100-metre freestyle relay, alongside teammates Angela Coughlan, Elaine Tanner, and Marion Lay. She also competed in individual freestyle events.

Four years later, at the 1972 Munich Olympics, Corson participated in individual freestyle events and the 4x100-metre freestyle relay, but did not medal.

Corson also competed in multiple Commonwealth Games, winning medals in freestyle events and relays. After her competitive swimming career, she remained involved in the sport, often as a coach or mentor. She is considered a significant figure in Canadian swimming history.
