Cosmopolitan TV (Canadian TV channel)

Cosmopolitan TV was a Canadian English-language Category A cable and satellite specialty channel owned by Corus Entertainment. It was licensed by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) in 2000 as "HC, The Women's Television Network" and launched on January 1, 2001.

The channel's programming focused primarily on entertainment and lifestyle content targeting a female demographic. Programs included talk shows, reality series, dramas, and films, often acquired from international sources, particularly the United States.

In 2015, Corus Entertainment announced that Cosmopolitan TV would be rebranded as W Movies. The change took effect on March 1, 2015. The decision to rebrand was driven by a desire to align the channel's identity more closely with its programming content, focusing specifically on movies within the W Network brand. The Cosmopolitan TV brand ceased to exist in Canada at that time.
