Marcus Rush (American football)

Marcus Rush (born May 19, 1992) is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent.

Rush played college football at the University of Toledo, where he was a four-year letterman. He earned first-team All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) honors as a senior in 2015.

After going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft, Rush signed with the San Francisco 49ers. He was released by the 49ers before the start of the regular season. He subsequently signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars and was later released.

Rush has also spent time with the Los Angeles Rams, the Oakland Raiders (now Las Vegas Raiders), and the Kansas City Chiefs. He has primarily played on special teams and as a backup linebacker throughout his professional career. He has been on and off active rosters and practice squads during his time in the NFL.
