Mano Menezes

Luiz Antonio "Mano" Menezes (born June 11, 1962) is a Brazilian football manager and former player.

Menezes has managed several prominent clubs in Brazil, including Grêmio, Corinthians, Flamengo, Cruzeiro, and Internacional. He is known for his tactical approach, which often emphasizes a balanced and organized team structure.

His career highlights include leading Grêmio to the Série B title in 2005 and the Copa do Brasil title in 2007. He also guided Corinthians to the Série B title in 2008 and the Copa do Brasil title in 2009.

Menezes served as the head coach of the Brazil national team from 2010 to 2012. During his tenure, he aimed to rebuild the team and prepare it for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, which Brazil hosted. However, he was ultimately replaced before the tournament. Following his departure from the national team, he has continued to manage clubs in Brazil and abroad.
