London After Midnight (band)

London After Midnight (LAM) is a musical project formed in Los Angeles, California in 1990 by Sean Brennan. LAM is often categorized as gothic rock, darkwave, and industrial rock, though Brennan himself has stated that the band incorporates elements from a variety of genres and resists strict categorization.

The project is primarily driven by Sean Brennan, who writes, performs, and produces the majority of the music. Over the years, London After Midnight has had a revolving lineup of musicians contributing to live performances and recordings.

LAM's lyrical content often explores themes of social commentary, political issues, philosophy, and personal experiences. Brennan's songwriting is characterized by its often critical and introspective nature.

The band has released two studio albums, Selected Scenes from the End of the World (1995) and Psycho Magnet (1996), as well as a compilation album, Violent Acts of Beauty (2007), which contains remixes, re-recordings, and unreleased material. The band has also released several demo collections and EPs.

Despite not releasing a new studio album since 1996, London After Midnight has maintained a dedicated following and continues to perform live sporadically. Sean Brennan has been involved in various other musical projects and activism efforts.
