Lison (river)
The Lison is a small river in the Franche-Comté region of eastern France. It rises from the karst spring known as the Source du Lison, located near the village of Nans-sous-Sainte-Anne in the Doubs department. The spring is notable for its impressive flow and picturesque setting. The Lison is a short river, flowing generally northwards for approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) before it joins the Loue river near the village of Lizine.
