Lin Dunn
Lin Dunn (born May 10, 1947) is a highly accomplished American women's basketball coach. She has coached at the collegiate and professional levels, achieving significant success and recognition throughout her career.
Dunn's collegiate coaching career spanned multiple universities, including Austin Peay State University, University of Miami, Purdue University, and as an assistant at the University of Mississippi. At Purdue, she led the Boilermakers to their first NCAA Women's Final Four appearance in 1994.
Professionally, Dunn served as a head coach and general manager in the American Basketball League (ABL), leading the Columbus Quest to two ABL championships (1997 and 1998). Following the ABL's folding, she transitioned to the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
In the WNBA, Dunn coached the Seattle Storm, leading them to their first playoff appearance. She later coached the Indiana Fever, guiding them to a WNBA championship in 2012. Dunn retired from coaching in 2014 but returned to the Indiana Fever as general manager in 2017, a position she held until 2022.
