Les Dudek
Les Dudek (born August 2, 1952) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his session work with artists such as the Allman Brothers Band, Boz Scaggs, Stevie Nicks, and Cher, as well as for his own solo albums and compositions.
Dudek's distinctive guitar style blends elements of blues, rock, and jazz fusion. He gained early recognition for his contributions to the Allman Brothers Band's Brothers and Sisters album, particularly his guitar solo on the instrumental track "Jessica."
Following his session work, Dudek embarked on a solo career, releasing his self-titled debut album in 1976. He went on to release several more solo albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, showcasing his songwriting and vocal abilities alongside his guitar playing. His songs often feature intricate guitar arrangements and a blend of genres.
Beyond his solo work and session recordings, Dudek has also contributed to film soundtracks, including Blues Brothers 2000. He continues to perform and record music.
