Laurie (EP)

Laurie (EP) refers to a self-titled extended play record released by the English singer-songwriter Laurie Anderson in 1980. It was her first commercial release and included the songs "Big Science" and "O Superman (For Massenet)". The EP is notable for its avant-garde and experimental nature, blending spoken word, electronic music, and art pop elements. It pre-dates her breakthrough album, Big Science. The EP was released on the One Ten Records label. "O Superman" later became a surprise hit in the UK, leading to a major label deal.
