Kimzha (river)
The Kimzha is a river located in the Arkhangelsk Oblast of Russia. It is a right tributary of the Mezen River. The Kimzha flows through a sparsely populated, primarily forested region. The river's length is approximately 158 kilometers (98 miles), and its drainage basin covers an area of 1,470 square kilometers (570 square miles). The river freezes over in late October or early November and remains frozen until late April or early May. The Kimzha is primarily used for fishing and local transportation.
