Kent Kirk

Kent Kirk (born July 1, 1948) is a Danish politician and former Member of the European Parliament (MEP). He represented the Liberal party (Venstre) in the European Parliament from 1979 to 1994. He is also a former fisherman. Kirk is known for his work on fisheries policy within the European Union. His political career was largely focused on representing the interests of Danish fishermen and the fishing industry. Following his time in the European Parliament, Kirk remained involved in Danish politics and continued to advocate for the fishing sector.
