Ken Casey

Ken Casey is an American musician, best known as the lead singer, bassist, and co-founder of the Boston-based Celtic punk band, the Dropkick Murphys. He founded the band in 1996.

Beyond his musical career, Casey is also a businessman. He owns and operates McGreevy's Irish Pub in Boston, a bar named after the historic establishment operated by "Nuf Ced" McGreevy, a figure important in Boston baseball history.

Casey is known for his strong Boston accent and working-class ethos, which are reflected in the Dropkick Murphys' music and lyrics. The band often addresses themes of Irish-American identity, labor struggles, and Boston pride. He is a supporter of various charitable causes, often focusing on issues affecting working-class families and veterans.
