Kabeliai

Kabeliai is a village in Varėna district municipality, in Alytus County, in southern Lithuania. Situated approximately 18 kilometers southwest of Varėna, it lies close to the Belarusian border. The village is known for its historical significance, particularly its association with Lithuanian resistance movements during the Soviet era. Kabeliai is located within the Dainava forest, and its surroundings are characterized by dense woodlands and natural beauty.
