JonTron

JonTron (born Jonathan Aryan Jafari on March 24, 1990) is an American internet personality, comedian, reviewer, and musician. He is best known for his YouTube channel, JonTronShow, which features reviews, parodies, and comedy sketches centered on video games, films, and other media.

Jafari first gained recognition as a co-creator and co-host of the web series Game Grumps alongside Arin Hanson (Egoraptor) in 2012. He left Game Grumps in 2013 to focus on his own channel.

His content is characterized by its surreal humor, editing style, and use of chroma key. Many of his videos feature a green-screen background, allowing him to insert himself into various environments and situations. He often collaborates with other internet personalities.

JonTron's videos cover a wide range of topics, including video game reviews, bootleg games, and parodies of infomercials and commercials. He is known for his energetic delivery and comedic timing.

In 2017, JonTron faced significant controversy after making remarks on a livestream regarding immigration, assimilation, and racial demographics. These remarks led to widespread criticism and disassociation from some collaborators and partners. He later issued an apology and attempted to clarify his views.
