John Stopford (rugby league)

John Stopford was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s and 1960s. He primarily played as a centre.

Stopford played for Leigh Centurions, a club based in Leigh, Greater Manchester. He joined Leigh in 1957.

He was a member of the Leigh team that won the Lancashire League in the 1957-58 season.
