John Irving (footballer, born 1988)

John Irving (born 27 August 1988) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender.

Irving began his career with Gretna, making his senior debut in the Scottish Premier League during the 2007-08 season. Following Gretna's financial difficulties, he moved to Queen of the South.

He has also played for Annan Athletic, Stranraer, Stenhousemuir, Berwick Rangers, and Edinburgh City. His career has primarily been in the Scottish lower leagues.
