John Fogarty (Australian politician)

John Fogarty (born 1949) is an Australian politician who served as a Labor Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Council from 1995 to 2003.

Fogarty was a trade union official prior to entering politics. He served as the Secretary of the Federated Ironworkers' Association of Australia, New South Wales Branch. His parliamentary interests included industrial relations, manufacturing, and the steel industry. He was a member of various parliamentary committees during his tenure. After leaving parliament, he continued to be involved in union activities.
