Jimmy Campbell (footballer, born 1886)

James "Jimmy" Campbell (born 25 April 1886, date of death unknown) was a Scottish professional footballer who played primarily as an outside left. He is best known for his time with Newcastle United, although he also played for other clubs throughout his career.

Campbell began his footballing career in Scotland before moving to England. He joined Newcastle United in 1910 and was a member of the team that won the Football League First Division title in the 1908–09 season. He was known for his pace and dribbling ability on the left wing.
