Jim White (footballer, born 1922)
Jim White (born 26 September 1922) was an English professional footballer who played as a centre forward.
White began his career with South Bank East End before joining Middlesbrough in 1946. He made 22 league appearances for Middlesbrough, scoring 4 goals. He then moved to Darlington in 1948, where he played until 1950, registering 53 appearances and scoring 17 goals. Afterwards, he joined York City, appearing in 70 league matches and scoring 27 goals between 1950 and 1953. His final club was Scarborough, where he played from 1953 until his retirement.
