Jeff Yang

Jeff Yang is a Chinese-American writer, cultural critic, journalist, and businessman. He is best known for his commentary on Asian American issues, race relations, and popular culture.

Yang has written for a variety of publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Slate, The Village Voice, GQ, and The Baffler. He co-created the Asian Pop column for the San Francisco Chronicle and the popular blog Angry Asian Man. He also co-hosted the podcast "They Call Us Bruce" with Phil Yu (Angry Asian Man) and later with Jenny Yang.

Yang is the co-author of Jackie Chan: My Story and I Am Jackie Chan: My Life in Action, both autobiographies of the martial arts star. He also co-authored Rise: A Pop History of Asian America from the Nineties to Now with Phil Yu and Philip Wang.
