Jason Hill (American football)
Jason Hill (born August 11, 1985) is a former American football wide receiver. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at Brigham Young University (BYU).
Early Life and College Career
Hill attended North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas, where he was a standout football player. He then attended Brigham Young University, where he played wide receiver for the BYU Cougars from 2003 to 2006. During his college career, Hill recorded significant receiving statistics, becoming a key offensive weapon for the Cougars. He earned All-Mountain West Conference honors for his performance.
Professional Career
Hill was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round (76th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played for the 49ers from 2007 to 2010. During his time in San Francisco, he contributed as a receiver and on special teams. Following his time with the 49ers, Hill had brief stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2011 and the Denver Broncos, although he did not see regular-season action with either team. His NFL career was hampered by injuries.
